Au Sabot Pocket knife Vendetta, Ebony, 12C27 steel, stainless, 11cm

The Vendetta has its origin on the French island of Corsica.
The Vendetta lettering is completed by the well-known Corsican Mohrenkopf.
Vendetta means "revenge". This was a widespread custom in Corsica between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Each region has its own knives, but the cutlery capital is and will remain Thiers, which has been a preferred manufacturer on behalf of regional dealers for more than a century.
"Au Sabot" has been a masterpiece of this tradition since 1870 and brings a unique quality with knowledge and complete craftsmanship to all areas of production.
The powerful blade is made of 12C27 Sandvik steel and is matt like the jaws.
The special thing about 12C27 Sandvik steel is the composition of the alloy. The high chromium content of 13.5% increases the resistance to corrosion and at the same time hardens the cutting edge.
Chromium also protects against the dark, unsightly discoloration of steel that can be caused by acids or salt water.
